Forwarding mail

If you want to forward your mail to an account not provided by SUNY New
Paltz, you can do so with these instructions:

1 – Login to the hawkmail account.
2 – Click on the icon at the top right which looks like a gear:
3 – Choose “Mail Settings
4 – Click on the “Forwarding and POP/IMAP” tab.
5 – Click the “Add a forwarding address” button and follow the  prompts.

Please note:  New Paltz assumes that if a message is sent to your @hawkmail.newpaltz.edu address, that you have received it.  If the message is lost due to mail problems on the system you are forwarding your mail to, or incorrect forwarding setup, you are still responsible for that message.
