To transfer contacts from NPMail to Hawkmail, you first have to export contacts from NPMail, then import them into Hawkmail.  Please note: the NPMail server software (CommuniGate Pro) does not have a method of exporting distribution/group lists.  You will have to recreate these on the Hawkmail system.

Exporting contacts from NPMail

1 – Login to your NPMail account

2 – In the list of folders, click on the address book folder you want to export.  The default name for this is “Contacts”.

3 – Click the Settings button at the top right (not the settings at the top next to “Mail Control”).

4 – Click on “Export VCard 3.0 Data” and save that file

Importing contacts into Hawkmail:

1 – Login to your hawkmail account

2 – Click on “Contacts” at the top

3 – Near the top right look for and click on the “Import“ button

4 – Click “Browse” and choose the file you exported.

5 – Click “Import”
